I wonder how often bush & cheney use death threats?

When both bush and cheney called Democrats Tom Daschle and Patrick Leahy after the 5 anthrax letter murders, and after they'd both received one in the mail with anthrax in them, and they warned Tom and Pat not to delve too deeply into the nine eleven terror attacks, if maybe they didn't also threaten to have them killed?

Lots of crazy people to this day seem to think these anthrax letter murders were in themselves death threats to higher ups on the left, backed up with 5 'random' murders.

I wonder sometimes when I see reporters lob softball after softball at the monster if maybe certain members among them might not also have received officially sanctioned death threats?

I'd imagine they could also easily back up any such threat, and anyone receiving such a threat would do well to take them seriously. Some drunk in a bar, or some anonymous emailer can send you a death threat that might alarm you, but if you got one from dubya or dick you have a serious concern.

We know they use the officially sanctioned version of death threats all the time with certain world leaders, backing it up with huge naval buildups just off their shores.

I'm sure they all have something on each other up there on power hill, I'm sure they all know where each other's skeletons are buried, and I'm sure that some of them threaten each other from time to time. But I just have to wonder, after all these years, how these assholes keep getting away with what they get away with.
