Virginia Politician: "If we aren't careful, more Muslims will get elected"
"If we don't do something about our immigration policy, many, many more Muslims will settle in the United States and some of them will get elected." He refused to retract his earlier remarks about the newly elected Muslim representative from Minneapolis.

Ironically, he is big on ending the separation of church and state. It seems that many of these people have purely bigoted reasons for thinking that the Ten Commandments are not prominent enough (never mind that Jews and Muslims also believe in the Ten Commandments... they seem to think that people commit crime because they are not evangelicals.)

He refused to comment on whether his Minnesota colleague should be "allowed" to swear on the Koran. CNN mentions that many of his colleagues already swear on holy texts, including the Hebrew bible.

8. We The People
Can anyone show me where in those three words the word Christian shows up? Where the heck even is the concept that only people that believe in the Abrahamic God are allowed into Club US?
