O'LOOFAH practices Looking - out- for- YOU by picking on little guys
Edited on Fri Dec-22-06 10:45 AM by UTUSN
& in the 2nd item, O'LOOFAH indulges his Masochistic (= in the EXPLICITLY CLINICAL sense) martyr complex by making his staff collect every single mention of him overnight from every source in the media, then he fallafels himself by savoring every morsel.

Last night he played clips from throughout the past year of his various appearances on NETWORK (REAL media) outlets (Dave, LENO, Today), and asked why he is SO MISUNDERSTOOD. Besides Dave bashing him, LAUER with his head down introduced him as "Conservative," leading to the predictable verbal abuse erruption by O'LOOFAH, "I am NOT Conservative." LAUER said, "So what are you?" O'LOOFAH said, "I'm INDEPENDENT!!1 You know that!!!1 How long have you known me?" LAUER said, never raising his hunkered down head, "Twenty years?"

O'Reilly reaction ignites slew of responses

Bill O'Reilly fired back Tuesday at an editorial by Dan Radmacher of The Roanoke Times.
By Erinn Hutkin

.... The piece attacked the "'War on Christmas' nonsense" and cited TV commentator Bill O'Reilly as pushing it.

On Tuesday -- on radio and on Fox's "The O'Reilly Factor," -- the conservative host fired back. ....

The reaction was strange, Radmacher admitted Wednesday. When he wrote his column he never expected to reach O'Reilly's radar.

"I could see jumping onto something in The New York Times, but to make a big deal of a relatively small newspaper seems counterproductive," Radmacher said. "I had no idea he (O'Reilly) would be that easy to provoke." ....

The Culture War Rages in the Press

Thursday, December 21, 2006

By Bill O'Reilly

Every morning my staff gives me a folder entitled "Bill in the News." It contains articles and TV transcripts that have mentioned my name overnight. Ninety percent of the press is negative.

The same holds true for FOX News in general. Most of the media coverage critical.

So we decided to find out why. If FOX News is the dominant number one rated cable network, and our presentation appeals to millions, why are we hammered in the press? The answer, of course, is ideology.

We can't find one TV critic in the United States of America, not one who isn't a liberal or a registered Democrat. Most are committed liberals, who dislike us for giving conservative and traditional Americans a fair shot. ....

1. I have heard O'Liely only once, on Terri Gross's
"Fresh Air". I could tell from listening to him that the man is insane. Looks like he has a staff to feed his insanity.

3. Was that the famous "walk out" incident?
Terry Gross -- clearly unintimidated by the drunken asswipe -- replayed the entire (though abbreviated) interview shortly after. It was sweet to hear him go Billistic.

After his dustups with Franken and Olbermann, it is very, very clear that O'Reilly cannot stand even the thought that someone is willing to criticize with the same energy and bile that dishes out on a regular basis.

4. "to go Billistic". . . . oh very good.
He is awfully thin skinned, isn't he?

5. I going "Billistic" a la O'Reilly should find its way into the lexicon...
... not unlike Santorum's contribution.

2. O'Reilly is rapidly becoming irrelevant.
Pay not attention to the man behind the shower curtain.
