should we have a seperate forum dedicated to Iraq?? |
|
Topics could include - Prewar lies and reasons of how/why we went there
- Stories of Contractor fraud/abuses going on there
- The lastest deaths and/or attacks, maybe a sticky thread with the current soldiers death toll
- how much we screwed up since we've been there (such as mistakes that Bremer did, discussion of troops levels, etc)
- latest on different strategies to get out or fix the situation somehow
It seems lately that social issues seem to be dominating GD and sometimes posts and discussions about Iraq get lost pretty quick.
Does this seem like a good idea or am I way off base with this?

1. How many forums do people need. I HATE sifting through all |
|
this stuff trying to figure out where everything goes. In fact, why post half the time? It'll either upset half the crowd because they don't like the forum you posted in or it'll get moved.

3. I wouldn't for a moment think the OP is a * supporter, but |
|
this kind of suggestion would make * and his minions very happy: segregate talk of Iraq out of mainstream discussion. Out of sight, out of mind...just like they're doing in the MSM.

4. No. The Research Forum is a good place to store factual material ... |
|
... once developed, vetted, and discussed in an appropriate forum. IMHO. YMMV. (etc.)
