Saying Merry Christmas is just a routine now, there's little meaning behind it anymore. Over the past few years, I've watched the people that surround me here in Virginia support every piece of the lies, fears and bigotries the administration has pumped out via its broad propaganda network. I don't see good caring people anymore, I see mindless Nazi-like robots who would and, in some cases have, turn on me and call me a traitor, coward, liar, idiot and brainwashed anti-American because I dare to question pure treason.

For 6 years I've tried to inform them, educate them, give them subtle hints and also got right up in their faces. It's worked a little bit, we got rid of "macaca" but still passed an anti-gay horror of a law that the elites like Mary Cheney will just be allowed to ignore anyway. And that's the way it is now, the people vs. the liars. "Merry Christmas and goodwill towards all mankind" has some serious exclusions now, damage that cannot be undone.

We are a divided nation in many ways: the informed vs. the uninformed, the elite vs. the people and neighbor vs. neighbor. Forgiveness is the answer for a lot of people but not for me. I can't forgive criminals of this magnitude and I don't think many other people can either. If "Merry Christmas" or "Happy New Year" will ever have any meaning again, America needs to hold the crooks accountable for betraying us.

Can you focus on those of us who are intelligent, who are trying to teach tolerance and fellowship? I spend a lot of time each day with spiritual practices, especially when I'm upset by the kind of people you mention. When I can get back to that peaceful space, something rather amazing has been happening. Instead of meeting cretins, I am coming across folks who are kind, are tolerant. Maybe it is a factor of like attracting like. But it is worth trying, just to keep your own sanity. My very best to you.

7. Yes, I do that and it works

There are a lot of dems in the area and I hook up with them all the time. There is another culture here of chimpbot cultist zombies that are impossible to ignore though. For example, the guy across the street from me died a few weeks ago. He was a "patriot" whos car was covered with flags waving from 2 antennas and yard was full of GOP crap. The neighbors are all glad he's gone. We watched as the police searched his house for a whole day looking for hate crime links.

In the past, there would have been ZERO rejoicing in someone dying. This is my point, these people are hated and it just cannot be ignored or brushed aside. Sure, it's tolerated, nobody did anything to bother the guy and I used to go help him carry his garbage out and clean up his yard. But, the bigger issues are impossible to ignore now and they are on the minds of everyone.

1. the order is a foreign power and has diplomatic relations with the US and a number of other countries, even though they don't have a country of their own, but are like the Vatican in that they have sovereign control over a small area within Rome. They issue their own passports and currency as well as produce passports and currency for other countries.
2. Although connected to the Vatican and swear allegiance to the Pope, they should be considered separate from the Church. Much like privateers of old, they act independently. They used to be Pirates and slavers but have become more subtle in their methods, never acting openly but using others as fronts and acting under false flags to accomplish their goals. It was Fritz Von Papen, a Knight of Malta, who convinced Hindenburg to appoint Hitler Chancellor of Germany, thus precipitating events which led to WWII. After the War, they helped Nazis escape Europe and helped them get established elsewhere, including the United States. It was for good reason since the Third Reich was nothing more than a front for their operations to loot countries and pillage treasuries, including that of germany.
3. They always try to work both sides. While established in Germany, Roosevelt appointed General Donovan, a Knight of Malta to head the OSS which later became the CIA. My father was a member of the OSS and a Knight of Malta.
Most of the Directors of the CIA have been Knights of Malta and the ranks have many members as well.

I find it strange that the Knights have been a very powerful force within the US Government even though they swear allegiance to a foreign power and one of their stated goals is the destruction of the government of the US.

9. I have to admit that politics has come between me and three of

my friends over the past six years. I have never had this happen before...ever, in sixty years of life. These friends remain friends, but we no longer socialize or even talk on the phone. Friendly emails with no political bent (although two of them do sneak in a bit of propaganda once in a while which I now ignore).
