I was white-collar, he was blue-collar. I'm president, he's a singer."

21. Yeah, well.......
I come from the music world and have been around my share of arrogance in the collegiate academic world. I had a chance to sing with Barry Manilow that came through his people as a request to the college choral dept. The choral director at the time was a musical snob and thought that pop music (anything written in the 20th century) was "trash" or beneath him, and the worry amongst the students was that we were going to be given a "B" in the class if we went along with the request as singers and sung the concert. This same guy is the same guy who was playing Bach Motets in the local chamber music hall for an audience of 20 people, while Barry Manilow's concert brought 20,000 people into the college's athletic facility. I was thrilled to be on stage with one of the best songwriters and performers in the country, I've gone on to sing for similarly large crowds in the years beyond college and that same collegiate-level "teacher" is still playing snobby concerts for 20-100 people.

32. Sorry people, this doesn't fly IMHO.
Why were the "blue-collar" Gatlin brothers even attending this staged event with Chimpy today?

Obviously, they have fallen for his BS hook, line and sinker.

The Gatlin Brothers got exactly what they deserved today.

Karma's a bitch.

42. Well, if the Gatlins' and the blue collar workers that were
present today in Tennessee don't realize that they were "dissed" by Chimpy McYellowstain today and have been for the past 5 years, what will it take to make them realize this?

Maybe they'll realize it when their blue collar jobs are shipped overseas, gone forever...

46. Well, it's always ambiguous.
Bush's insults usually have double meanings, benign & malicious, and you can take either one. His supporters will tend to take the "benign" interpretation that this is just some friendly teasing. But enough people will get the "mean" interpretation that his message gets across. And because it could be interpreted either way, you can't ever quite call him out on it. It's Bush's skill in constructing insults that make me think he isn't that dumb.

Not surprising at all. He insults everyone which, imho opinion, is a sign of low self esteem or else he's just a major league a$$hole. Probably a little of both.

48. What's so surprising about that?
Take Mama Bush's comments "her beautiful mind" before the invasion of Iraq and the other one about the Katrina evacuees in Houston last September as perfect examples.

What's that old saying: "Apples don't fall too far from the tree".

Yep, Chimpy McYellowstain is a snobbish prick.
