Air America Radio: an example of ego and crony capitalism
Mike Malloy gets the last laugh!

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/sheldon-drobny/air-america-radio-an-exa_b_37020.html

".. I have lost my faith in the higher echelons of the Democratic Party and the elite who control it. I thought AAR would be a grass roots network that would not suffer from the destructive corporate greed and vanity. Had I had the money to completely fund the project, that would never have happened. I know that good ideas cannot come from greed and ego. Unfortunately, the primary backers of AAR suffered from both and anything the Drobnys wanted to do was considered a bad idea. We were summarily kicked off the board and the founders truly became silent partners. Actually we were in fact muzzled. .."

3. Too bad the listeners and the on-air hosts pay the price for the execs' greed and stupidity

Every one of the hosts on AAR has more talent in their little finger than Rush Limpballs has in his entire bloated body. These guys deserve much better management -- and so do we!

4. Yep. Good story. Glad to hear Nova M will be inviting investors soon...
I have a retirement account - not investments, but I'll invest in Nova M. And very glad to hear Joe Trippe is involved!

"But, the inside story of the major shareholders of AAR is the worst example of predatory greed and vanity. It was surprising to me as one who originally believed that rich liberals would somehow be different."
