she trashed the Dixie Chicks on the Award show. She always talked like she had her mouth full of crap, now I know it.

she and husband Narvel Blackstock, convinced their band (some of whom were personal friends and colleagues of mine) to continue to fly on a chartered air craft that the two originating pilots refused to fly further after landing because of an "avionics" problem. The replacement pilots crashed the plane into the side of a mountain shortly after take off, killing everyone aboard. Reba's response was to deny the families of the dead band members just compensations, and of course hire another band at half the price!

All these years I've been sorry for *her* loss, and when flying in an unsafe plane was *her* idea. I'm amazed that a pilot could be found to fly it.

I have no doubt that she was touched by the tragedy; you would have to be a monster not to be! I have worked with her, and know she is not ... Shouldn't have allowed my bitterness out like that ... It caught me off guard that's all ... The actions of her corporation however in the aftermath is what is telling! Still, it's time for me to move on, let go, and forgive. Merry Christmas to you all, and long live the songs of Chris Austin!

Yeah she thought she would do her masters proud by going off from mouth about the Dixe Chicks.

This year she had problems selling out venues in Las Vegas and had to cancel. :)
