Finally! A use for all my free Mobile-to-Mobile Airtime to hear Stephanie Miller Live!

Since the local Clear Channel / Baine Capital (RomneyCorp) radio stations decided to dump Air America and Stephanie Miller, I'd been itching for a way to get my fix.

I bought a one-year subscription to the StephCast, but I wanted to get it LIVE-- even though Elaine Boozler is currently covering for Steph during her well-earned vacation. (I suppose Steph is knocking back a few boxes of wine while she and her dogs try and chase the squirrels out of the house).

The hard part is, the time when I usually listen to Stephanie Miller is when I am in my car, not when I'm at home near my computer.

So, here is what I have done.

1) Before leaving the house, I set my laptop to listen to the live StephCast feed.

2) I plug the hands-free headset into my Verizon cellular phone (Phone A).

3) I set Phone A to "Auto-Answer" incoming calls.

4) Then, when I want to listen to Stephanie Miller, live, in my car, I just call Verizon Phone A from Verizon Phone B and put it on speaker.

Voila!

Live streaming of Stephanie Miller directly to my cellular phone, at no additional cost to me!

Finally, a way to use all that free mobile-to-mobile airtime!

It's not GREAT audio quality, but it's about as good as the crappy low-power AM Radio station that sucked so bad, they SUPPOSEDLY couldn't run a progressive station in BOSTON!

Now, if I could find a way to take the audio directly from the 1/8" audio output on my computer, I'll be happy as a clam.
