BUSH: We're so glad it's Christmas Vacation!
"Bush is spending the long Christmas weekend with his family at the presidential retreat in the Maryland mountains. On Dec. 26, Bush flies to his Texas ranch, where he will vacation until Jan. 1."

====

Bush leaves Walter Reed on Friday, trying to point to his heart to show who concerned he is about the troops and thinking "Yeah, yeah, yeah, let's get on with my time off, I got me another vacation coming."

US Marine Cpl Chris Santiago(R), a double amputee who was attached to the 2nd Battalion 8th Marines and injured in the Secarai Valley, Iraq jokes around with US Army soldier Luis Puertes, a double amputee of the 4th Infintry Division who was injuried in Baghdad, while they await adjustments in a clinic at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC on 21 December 2006.

1. George, do us all a favor -- STAY on vacation!
We'd all be a lot better off if you did.

7. His entire life has been a vacation, interrupted by sporadic bouts of work
Edited on Sat Dec-23-06 04:39 PM by Penndems
I'll never forget hearing on MSNBC before he took office Bush stating that he planned to knock off work at 7:30 p.m.

When Joe Lockhart, the last Press Secretary in the Clinton White House was told that, he said, with this incredulous look on his face, "If he thinks he can knock off work at 7:30, he's in for a rude awakening."

Turns out The Village Idiot didn't just want to knock off early, he likes to completely escape for weeks at a time. :eyes:

8. Below is a picture of LBJ listening to
Edited on Sat Dec-23-06 05:34 PM by AlienAvatar
an audiotape from his son-in-law stationed in Viet Nam. We've all heard much about LBJ. Good and bad, but that is beside the point I want to make. Whether this photo was staged or if he was aware of being photographed is also beside the point. Saint or sinner, I do believe he had enough humanity in him that I can easily imagine he had many such anguished moments when he was alone and unobserved. This photo is dramatic because it is believable. There is truth in it.

Now, in your wildest imaginings, can you see george bush in this picture. Nursing a hangover, sure, but that's it. You can't put a sociopath in a pose like this without it just screaming, WRONG! George Bush is, at best, a borderline sociopath, and I don't believe he has EVER experienced anguish about the pain of others.

Soldiers will be dying everyday while their Commander-in-Chief is relaxing. How COULD he!? How DARE he!

12. Back then all we had was the Readers' Guide, instead of the internet.
We made do, and we knew about Landslide Lyndon and the war profiteering of Lady Bird. Brown and Root built the Naval Base Cam Ran Bay, Vietnam.

13. My intent was not to make any statement about LBJ at all. It
was only to say that I don't think George Bush has ever, even one time, held his head in thoughtful anguish over the ramifications of any of his decisions. I came across this photo and it seemed to me that, saint or sinner, it was at least somewhat believable that Johnson may have had at least one moment like this. I can not say the same about Bush. I really don't believe he has ever had such a moment in his entire life, unless it was about himself, and the reason for this is clinical. He simply doesn't have the capacity. Like I said, I believe he is, AT BEST, a borderline sociopath.

15. I tried to emphasize the "AT BEST" part by
using all caps. It should be obvious that I suspect it's much worse than that. I'm just trying to make an observation. All I know is what I read on the internet. I'm in no way qualified to make a legal diagnosis. I'm not an MD, I've never met, talked to, or examined the fucker.

9. George just needed a quick pick-me-upper and seeing mangeled
troops did it for him. Now he can go and party. While humans gain pleasure from doing good deeds, creatures like George are just the opposite. Just ask Rummy...

"Drat...no more feeding on fresh blood."

Like the loser coward screwup he has always been.

Merry frikkin Christmas, you war-mongering oil profiteer.

You have caused more suffering than Ebeneezer Scrooge could ever have dreamed.

11. My heart aches for those young men. And their Iraqi counterparts.
And the families who have lost loved ones. For nothing. Just more war.
