Damn! Now I'm mad all over again.
Just finished watching "Who Killed the Electric Car?". Damn, damn, damn. How diabolical this corporate government is of ours.
Even though the documentary ended on a somewhat upbeat note, it still makes me seethe.

1. Dude, it's Christmas -- be merry :)
You should be watching Miracle on 34th St and It's a Wonderful Life. Save the right wing horror shows for January. ;)

Peace.

3. I know - I just got it from Netflix and decided I'd view it whilst wrapping
presents. AARRRGGHHHH.
I don't know why I'm such the masochist. Now I'm going to find something a little more 'seasonal'.

But - I'm still PISSED.

Have I said today how much I HATE George W. Bush, et al?

4. It's just so bloody selfish, arrogant, beastly, you name the adjective and it
suits them. I can't think enough vile things about people like that.
But - you're right, I can't let those monsters take my spirit away.

7. Corporations are asocial
And we have given them the keys to our kingdom.

Yes, personal greed plays a part in a some of the problems. But in truth the corporate system is flawed in that it creates an entity that has no social drives. None of our biological need for community and fellowship. Its very effective in small and mid scale operations. In such cases the humanity of the CEOs still plays a part. But once you go to large and beyond the rules of the system take over and it really doesn't matter how humane the CEO is. They have to respond to market forces as the system plays out.

We used to have regulations keeping such things in line. But the genie is out of the bottle and stuffing them back in is going to be hard.

8. My neighbors have one. Do you know that they don't idle when
they stop? I was at the mailbox and they stopped behind me. I didn't even hear the car. When I turned around, imagine my surprise when I saw a car behind me that didn't make a sound.
