GMA's idea of Day before Christmas stories
Lead story - Baby Jesus statue disappears from creche on front lawn.
Second story - Premature babies

The nowhere to be seen or heard story? - anything about the poor, the sick, or anyone resembling those whom Jesus actually spent time with.

On the other hand, I guess we should be comforted to hear that the Bush family will be having a traditional Christmas dinner.

:eyes: Go figure.

1. I hope they choke on their dinner; we'll get to watch the death toll
climb.

4. I continue to be fascinated with the open shallowness and
triviality of the media and the nation as a whole.

5. It's Christmas Eve; we can't have any bad, honest, news to upset
the masses, can we. I'm not fascinated, but repulsed. And I'll bet there are a good many military families that are as well.

3. Sorry, GMA.
CNN scooped you on the missing baby Jesus story on Friday.
It wasn't their lead, though. Their top story was Rosie v The Donald (day four, I think). They did cover it quite thoroughly, though.
If you want to be taken seriously, you have to get on the missing baby Jesus doll stories as they happen. Two days after the fact doesn't do much for all the missing baby Jesus doll news junkies out there.
This is why GMA is irrelevant. Did they even cover the Miss Nevada scandal?

6. What, no breathless updates on retail numbers?
Man, GMA's really slipping!
