Or will 20,000 more troops in a city of 10 million people have little or no effect on the overall situation? Can someone explain how these 20,000 troops might be used? Will they go in by platoons or by companies or by battalions? What's to keep the "insurgents" from simply withdrawing until the troops march thru wherever they are going to march thru? I fail to see how this will make any difference at all - except maybe more American deaths?
