3. What does this Jewish man have to do with Christmas?
This is the most bizarre year for Christmas programming. There aren't any new productions. The music is terrible and is sung by holy roller choirs. The religious programs feature southern evangelicals. What have they done with Christmas anyway. Everthing religious and having to do with Christ seems to have been stripped out.

Did any channel broadcast a Midnight Mass besides EWTN?

4. What does his religion have to do with anything?
Seriously, do you pigeonhole all public figures by their religion? I seem to recall a Constitution somewhere that suggests it's supposed to be a private affair.

5. LK doesn't keep it private that he is Jewish.
Just scroll on by if you don't agree it is odd programming for Christmas day. It's just another attempt to do away with Christmas.

8. I understand where he's coming from
Celebrating the Christian high holy day with 18 hours of a Jewish man does sound a bit strange. It's not as if they couldn't find a Christian talk show host to put on for 18 hours.

And actually, I support them doing it. "Eighteen Hours of Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity and Ann Coulter" would do more to shift the airwaves to the left and decimate the rolls of the Republican Party than anything else we could come up with.

Then again...if they're going to run 18 hours of the same host and they don't want their viewership reduced to the 35-member Free Republic subscriber base, Larry King's okay.

6. NBC broad casted midnight mass from the Basilica,
which they have done for many years. It is paid for by the Knights of Columbus in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and the Philippines, according to the announcer.
