But what can I say? I'm watching a program about the life of Charles Dickens on History Channel International. There's just so much of that I'm going to miss!

3. Let's see... watch Faux or the birdfeeders in my backyard? |
|
No contest. Can't do it. The cardinals and white-throated sparrows are much more fun to watch. (And they're smarter than the average Faux-er too!)

4. Yeah, and there's a 20-year old James Bond movie on Spike, so why watch FAUX? |

9. Been watching the public school channels. They have been doing |

different middle school choruses. It's been a real hoot.
Also watch the Sundance Channel's "Iconoclasts." Excellent show. Loved the Fiona Apple/Quentin Tarantino show.

I think watching the birds is like therapy. Makes me feel so much better when I get tense about politics.

8. "...watching the birds is like therapy." I agree! |

All I need do is look to the right or left of the the computer screen to see out the windows and watch the critters and birds - much better than TV or movies!

It seems to me that God could use some better publicity agents.
For example: What if Pat Robertson were to march out of Holy Roller Radio studio after having exorted his flock into buying him a new jet or something, be struck by a bolt of lightning and in the wink of an eye be turned into a piece of smoking pork rind?
I think a lot of nay-sayers on DU would have to be pretty impressed with that.
And it might let a lot of others know just what God's Work really is.
Merry Christmas:bounce:

12. Don't you find it a little odd? |
|
I saw this service, but I noticed a very crucial and disturbing discovery. This church service, which is what it was, has shown comercials. That deems that there is profit being made and is in violation of IRS statute of tax exempt status for the church. I hope someone reports it to the proper authorities.
