Just a little something to positive to think about

I take little 'road trips' on the internet, via http://www.usnpl.com
I go state to state reading each newspaper in the state. Looking for stories but also getting to see what is going on all around the US.

I have found more stories than I can count about people doing really wonderful things for others - from toy drives to feeding the hungry. Front page stories in little towns all across the US of how others are reaching out to people. From the young to the elderly.

If you get a little time later, take a trip. Pick a state. Glance at their newspapers, and break away from the big news sites.

Hometown USA may not be perfect, but there are still a lot of good people in this country out there. People like those here on DU.
