Santa Claus The Great Imposter.
http://www.av1611.org/othpubls/santa.html

Did your home get a visit from Santa Clause last night? or was it "Satan" Clause?

I found this interesting article which definitively shows that our beloved Santa is really Satan in disguise.

This interesting article draws on a diverse array of scholarly sources, including the lyrics to a KISS song, the respected scientific journal SPY Magazine, and Ozzy Osbourne's descriptions of all the people in his head. The sinister nature of many Christmas songs is also brought out. The upshot of the thesis is that Santa is a direct derivation from Satan, and even the name is just a clever anagram.

Did you know that even the trademark "Ho!, ho!, ho!" was Satan's entry line in medieval miracle plays? Santa's elves are really Satan's fellow fallen angels.

Santa impersonates the characteristics of Jesus in order to draw innocent little children to Satan while they're young and vulnerable.

If you fear for your children's immortal souls (or just want a good laugh) you'll take a look at this article.

Merry Christmas everyone!

2. I had assumed this was an Onion.com-like satire.
but peeling the URL back to it's home page, I see that it's perfectly legit: http://www.av1611.org/

It's a religious organization named "Dial-The-truth Ministries", and to show that they mean business, they tell you how many people have died since you opened that page! Brrrrrr!! I'll get no sleep tonight!

A JOYOUS WINTER SOLSTICE!! (They can't take THAT away from me!!)

and make darn sure you know that the vast majority of them of are headed straight to Hell.

I wonder what these Christian types think the actual purpose of Jesus dying for mankinds salvation was, if the vast majority of humans have continued to go to Hell. I thought that Jesus was supposed to have defeated Satan, according to their theology.

They actually have a reference to an Onion article in there somewhere. They feel that the article accidentally hit upon the truth, though it's intention was blasphemy.

A Joyous Winter Solstice to you!

8. I hope you took that with the irony intended!
I'm not a card-carrying Christian, but I have no particular problem with "Merry Christmas" in informal discourse. Still, "Joyous Winter Solstice" has a nice 'ring' to it. Don't you agree?

9. I'm very cool with "Joyous Winter Solstice".
I love all of the blending of various pagan soltice traditions that have found their way into Christmas. That's why I find it such a cool holiday.

6. Some people, when they get their minds working, come up with theories for parallel universes.
Some people just write esays comparing Satan to Santa.
I'll take the parallel universes.

Wow. Some of these so-called Christians have way too much time on their hands. Priests and evangelical megachurch leaders are more of a threat to the weak and vulnerable than Santa ever could be. Naah, this can't be right. Satan can't be both Santa AND D*ck Ch*ney!

10. Maybe Dick Cheney really is Santa Claus.
Does anyone recall seeing anything of him the last couple of days? He really hasn't been visible very much at all, maybe he's been up in the North Pole making toys in order to seduce all those little children to the Dark Side.

I think we may be on to something here. Or maybe I just had a little too much Christmas wine.

11. Eek! Perish the thought!
:hide:

No, Santa is really a evil robot who judges everyone to be naughty, and if he catches you outside after sundown on Xmas Eve...

Ok, maybe I've been watching too much Futurama, but I love that show...
