and thanks to you for thinking of it. I never did. It's important to thank those who helped put the gop out of power and help this country to get right again.

3. Mr Soros You Are My Hero! |
|
...I struggle every day with a deep ...disappointment with those who are rich, but you ...you are different to me. You do great things with the wealth that you have that help others and give them a leg up. For those good works Mr. Soros I know that you make God smile and it beams in every child's face and the hope that lights the eyes of very down trodden person. I am a Christian and when it came from your Jewish faith, it took with it the seeds of love, hope, agape, shalom. I think you have all those in your heart and tho I am sad you had to suffer so much to find it, I am glad that you took what you learned and made it into something beautiful. Thank you for your beautiful heart!

7. I like to think , that in one way, we did more |
|
I am reminded of a generous gift to food pantries. A rich person offered to match all contributions over $25 to participating food pantries, up to $1 million. Hearing that, I donated $35 to my local food pantry, which was participating. When the challenge period ended, we, the poorer people, had donated $23 million, dwarfing the original million. That's the genius of internet funding - when the bat comes out it allows the quick accumulation of alot of small donations.
Not to denigrate Mr. Soros, but I would like to thank every DUer and reader who did their own part of donating money, donating time, writing letters, attending rallies, making calls, knocking on doors, walking in parades, and above all, voting, which made the victory possible.
I hope Mr. Soros stays out of the 2008 primary and lets small donations and votes decide our presidential nominee, but otherwise makes generous donations to DFA and PDA to support progressive candidates.

And if there's anything you might do about offsetting the widespread corporate media ownership, like buying a major news source, that'd be spectacular, too.
Thank you, sir!
