Poll question: Predict the first Republican on the Hill foot in mouth moment of 2007
Given the penchant for republicans on the Hill (either senate or house members, or admin folks testifying on the Hill) to stick their feet in their mouth - I thought a little poll on who and what will be the first episode in 2007. Name (or vote for) the next "OMGosh... No s/he did NOT just say that..." moment....

1. Good idea! I voted McCain, but think of Hastert and his wacky housemates
and how, somehow the Foley affair will give us a few more chuckles this year thanks to him.

9. yeah! It's been said before, but originality isn't a requirement for Hastert.
That would be a very likely one.

and all that they've accomplished and how he sincerely hopes the democrats took a few notes so they don't squander their opportunity. (Joe may caucus with the dems, may be independent, but will always be a DINO in my eyes.)

12. for the fun of it....
While Condi is testifying, NSA dir Hadley will burst into the hearings to share the breaking news that "we know where the WMDs are!" To which Senator Levin has to correct Mr. Hadley that there really were NO WMDs in Tikrit - and sending inspectors their for the fifteenth time really wouldn't change the result.
