Heres the shit that pisses me off, we lost 7 soldiers and on our local news not one mention of that.

Heres the shit that pisses me off, we lost 7 soldiers and on our local news not one mention of that.
They did report though that we Oklahoman's lost another on the 22nd but nothing about the seven today

The lack of any local reporting on our particular conflict-of-the-moment has always pissed me off.

When I finally came back from The Bad Place, I was asked to give a little talk in the HS gym (tell 'em about how brave and dedicated we were - shit like that). Someone actually wrote the thing for me.

So I walked out on the stage and said, "Well, the first thing we would do when we entered a village was round up a few of the oldest people and throw them in the well."

I lasted about 5 more seconds.
