Today I will remember the deaths of 3000 soldiers, killed in the republic war
And I won't shed one single salty tear for what'is'name.

4. I'm with Raptor
I won't waste energy mourning for a man who was allowed to spend his time in peace and relative health. President Ford simply finished his journey in this sphere with dignity and at a ripe old age as we all aspire to. Too many this year met their makers unnaturally.

8. Your point is?
Did I say something bad about the late President? I like Philosoraptor because he isn't afraid of being flamed to keep people on point and that kind of courage should be rewarded in my opinion so I will voice my approval of his comments whenever I see fit. Cool wit you?

2. I wonder if it is not a man thing and not the party?
I seem to recall Johnson also could not get out of a war along with others in both parties at that time. Also look at Korea. Yet RR and Bush father also seemed to like wars. I think it is the way some minds work and they feel any thing can be done with force.

3. I think the 3000 will hit by the end of the week
and I mourn all 3000 lives lost in the name of Bush's ego.
