Beware when Bush goes to his ranch to "think"...
He did that before the Iraq invasion, if my memory serves me correctly? He's a dangerous man when left alone. He conspires and connives for evil. He is up to no good. He may be the President of the United States but he is a snake in the grass. He is never to be trusted.

13. But he was sure quick
to make a statement about Jerry Ford last night.

Yet, when the Shuttle Columbia crashed, NASA had to delay their 1st press conference in order to wait for him to get his act together to make a simple statement to the press.

2. to be honest, I don't know which is worse.
His presence in the White House, being a pig-headed, barely sentient, arrogant, petulant, power hungry jerk,
or
his presence in Crawford, Texas, being a pig-headed, barely sentient, arrogant, petulant, power hungry jerk.

not much of a choice, is it?

7. When he's at the White House, he seems to moderate his closet
drinking fairly well.

When he is at the "ranch," he is under no constraints.

Consequently I think he is more dangerous when he is playing cowboy at the pig farm.

5. I'm glad to see that you put the word "think" in parentheses.
It's almost impossible to describe his brain activity as actual thought.

6. He didn't go there to "think"...
He went there to play with the new Nintendo Wii his folks got him for Christmas!!! While Junior plays "Virtual Soldier", Poppy will try to figure out how to bail him out of this new mess.

(Guess this might be a lot harder than covering up some pesky cocaine arrests)

12. I agree with that -
he's probably into a full-on drunk right now; ranting and screaming and throwing stuff. Laura locks herself in her wing and stays away from him.
