Matt Davies, a Pulitzer Prize-winner and editorial cartoonist for the Journal News of Westchester County, N.Y., temporarily took over the comic strip Prickly City "in the spirit of bipartisanship" while creator Scott Stantis recovered from rotator cuff surgery.

The switch to Davies occurred the week of Dec. 11-16.
