1. Great
Pretty nice forecast for tomorrow. And no doubt his people have scoped out some incredible photo opportunities. Good for John. I'm a Clark supporter but I will vote for and contribute to whomever the Dems nominate in 08.

5. Hello
Back in the 80's I was stationed at the Naval Base in Philadelphia. We went to Lancaster one weekend and ate at one of the most incredible restaurants ever. It was an Amish place, where everyone sat together. The food was outstanding. And the city was so clean. That ain't the case down here in Mississippi where everyone thinks the sides of the road are their personal trash cans.

2. I have no preference for 2008
but I like Edwards and think he'd be a fine nominee if he won the primaries.

6. I'll Miss Him By One Day....Crap!
We're planning on taking a tour of the 9th Ward on Friday. We don't get into town until Thursday night. Perhaps I'll get lucky and see Mr. Edwards around the Quarter that evening, unless he leaves town after the announcement.

I'm looking forward to my 3rd post Katrina trip to the Crescent City. We hope to take in a Saints game, and have brunch for the first time in several years at Commander's Palace. First time dinner at K-Paul's for New Year's Eve, and also first time trips to Jacques Imo's & GW Fins.

8. He ought to postopone-- my opinion.
The death of Ford is geting blanket media coverage, there is an aura of death and solemnity in the air. Call it karma, call it whatever you want. If I were him, I would not do my kick-off in the shadow of death. Some potential supporters might even find it disrespectful.

I'd wait a week. When Dems take the reigns of power in a few days, there'll be a feeling of joy and empowerment in the air. I'd tap into that energy and excitement, were I Edwards.

Not a good way to start off a campaign- my opinion. Then, I am superstitious.
