1. I'm trying not to pay attention,,..
the memories are from another life...almost another planet. Knowing what I know now, sure does bring that time into a far more psychodelic focus.

2. Just take a look at the memories being left today. You'll be hitting
the streets for more acid for the lack of a James Brown.

3. I can't help but wonder..
what the 'adults' were thinking back then. If it was much the same as it is now..a sense of disbelief and powerlessness. Weird.. I had two brothers in Vietnam, and different friends, but it still did not seem to affect me...it all seemed so bizarrely normal.

4. I was a young adult at that time and there was no internet, no
DU, no powerful collective voice with regard to the rage concerning the outrage.

5. One of my big worry's today is their figuring out a way to take the internet from us
the internet is good for us because within moments we can know bullshit is bullshit and the lying bastards don't like that. Like all the other assaults on our rights and freedoms the fight for this one has to be added. We are not going to be able to ever kick back and enjoy our retiring years, they just ain't going to let that happen it seems.:+
