and he broghht back another act of the Ford Presidency that was just as controversial (if you are a right winger that is) as the Pardon

he actually started the process to bring them draft dodgers back into the national iife

When you look at the whole of this... both acts were meant for national healing.

1. They just showed an old clip of Ford introducing a bunch of dignitaries

including Cheney and Rumsfeld -- and also pointing out "26-year-old, gum-chewing George W. Bush..." And sure enough, that punk was chewing gum at a formal state event.
