The president is a dangerous maniac, just a reminder. |
|
As we reach the 3000 dead soldiers mark, and ring in the new year, and look back on the year 2006, we must remind ourselves and others that the president is extremely dangerous and out of control, and threatens us all, the world over.
I have to say this because no one else is saying it, they know it, but they just won't say it aloud. Every day that the dangerous maniac remains in office, unabated, more of our sons and daughters will die IN VAIN, and more and more innocent Iraqis will die as well.
If we are all sitting around on our asses like this next Christmas with this dangerous maniac still in charge, then I will probably have stopped trying to tell people that we are all in serious trouble, because it will probably be way too late, if it isn't already.
The world is waiting for us to do something about our dangerous maniac president, and I wish we would finally. What exactly is stopping us from stopping him? Protocol? A sense of decency? Fear? Apathy? Have we already surrendered to this dangerous maniac?
Do what, you ask? Sad that we even have to ask, it is our right and our duty to stop dangerous maniac presidents, and we are failing to do our duty, to our great shame.

They (MSM) are really spining about Ford "healing" America and ignoring the impending death count number.

2. I am with you on this. And with 2 years the 'autocrat 'is busy |
|
I am only seeing the US go down even faster for the next two years. I think we can get back to a normal way of life after the next election but I would not bet much on it. Something like martial law would not shock me with a nut case who finds this whole Congress thing a large pain in his ass unless it is a rubber stamp and he can not sign those sighing statements. We may have lost the check on this office of this President. I am hoping the new Congress will stop this but raking in money is a big thing and one wonders if the Dem. will just be the same.

And it AINT sposed to be that way. All the time I hear people say, 'oh well, there's nothing we can do about it'. Only the already defeated speak like that.

13. Frankly having lived when the civil rights and Vietnam was on |
|
I wonder why we do not see more people in the streets. Can not be the treatment as they were not treated well at all in those times. It must be just that people feel better about this time than that. I can not see people changing much. I mean people have taken to the streets all of history when they get really mad. My guess is that this does not get to people like the Civil Rights and Vietnam thing did. I know millions came out before the war, world wide, but now they just seem to be waiting. Maybe this is what is called 'chatter' and all hell will brake out.

4. Thanks for keeping us on point Raptor |

I think DU should start a dedicated death forum, morbid as that sounds, so whenever someone prominent dies we can all go start 500 different threads on the same subject and it won't interfere with General Discussion, which should generally be about current and alive things. Just my 1/2 a cent. Not really worth two. B-)

Will we be right where we are now, or will it be much much worse? Only time and the ape will tell.

My best Christmas present was my grand niece's little voice saying she can't bear to see him on her TV.

9. don't I wish it were just one man but it's a group of corporatists |

...trying to take over the world. The people of the US are just one irrelevant constituency that have been smothered into submission. Open borders, outsourcing, ripping the Constitution to shreds, unending wars and meddling abroad are the method. A direct legal attack on particular zaibatsu at home is needed to dismantle them, permanently.
The best way to do this is to investigate 911 and the anthrax attacks, which were acts of treason by this grouping. This should be done without pardons and without exception.
