Take your time mr. president, please, don't get the impression that we are rushing you, just take all the fucking time you need sir.

-----------------

Initially, White House advisers said Bush would announce a plan before Christmas. Then, they said it was more likely after the first of the year. Now, they say only that Bush will deliver his speech sometime between New Year's and his State of the Union address on Jan. 23.

"They've got to be looking at his poll ratings that have sunk to record low levels and say, 'We've got to get out there and change the political discourse on this question' and try to re-establish the president's authority," Podesta said, adding that each day Bush delays announcing his decision, the public becomes more skeptical that he has a plausible plan.

Bush is considering the so-called surge option: increasing the number of troops in Iraq and embedding more U.S. advisers in Iraqi units. Some military experts viewed the president's unexpected remarks last week that he backs future expansion of the overall size of the Army and Marine Corps to lessen strain on ground forces as a hint that he plans to send in more troops.

In another action that might foreshadow an increase in troops, the Pentagon on Wednesday announced that the 2nd Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division, based at Fort Bragg, N.C., will deploy to Kuwait to serve as the reserve force early next year.

1. That man doesn't have enough brain cells to figure out anything
but he's welcome to try. Though, as long as he's in Crawford, he might consider convening a discussion on what noble cause he sent all those mother's children to die for. It would be a start.

4. I thought it was only the Democrats who
didn't have a plan. Isn't that the sphew the MSM and the Reptilians have been telling us? IMO, "Non decisional" means that they either don't have a plan, that's already obvious, or, they have a number of plans, and that's dangerous given their track record.

6. Couldn't they just have a conference call?
Instead of schlepping everyone and everything down to the pig farm in Crawford? I mean, since it's obviously NOT a decisional meeting and all, why the need for Bush's "brain trust" to be present? I guess they all just LOVE to visit the pig farm.....on the taxpayer's dime.

11. The way I figure, 80 to 100 troops will have died while Bush* is
getting information to make a decision. No hurry though! I'm sure that many of them were supporting the president and his policies anyway!

I hope that Bush* has a fall back plan when the surge fails to accomplish anymore than more Iraqis and American losses. Hope Bush* can tell us what to look for when the surge hits Baghdad. How will he know when the surge should end?

13. Watch ~ right about January 2

they will send 20,000 troops to Iraq.

It will be to settle everyone down after they hang Saddam on New Years Day.

They will do it so that Nancy will be caught off guard and Bush will remain, "the Decider."

End of my Crystal Ball Theory. :)
