Harry Whittington, The Guy Dick Shot In The Face!

Poor Whittington is the living symbol of Cheney's many crimes, and his expectation of getting away with them scot-free.
Caught red-handed shooting a guy in the face, Cheney shrugged and poured himself another drink.

4. Thought of you last week when I read about the dead deer on Cheney's lawn.
Not the first time he has had a mess on the grass, is it? ;)

for several hours.

Couldn't help but envision the horse head scene from The Godfather. ;)

Message to Dick? Oh, and Steph, ask DemoTex about the crap Cheney used to find on his yard in Texas! Great story about a wonderful dog.

14. I used to live eight blocks from Cheney in Dallas ..
Actually, Cheney lived in Highland Park (Euclid St) when he was CEO of Halliburton and I lived on the edge of H-P in Dallas. We trained our dog, Sirius, to poop on Cheney's lawn. A turd at Chez Cheney got Sirius a Bil-Jac liver treat. Cheney's place soon became Sirius's favorite dumping ground.

After the November 2000 "elections," the Cheneys got 24/7 Secret Service protection. The SS lounged against their black Suburbans and scowled at me as Sirius pooped on the ivy and I walked away without picking it up (the only place I didn't clean up after my dog). Day after day. Night after night.

After the 12/12/2000 SCOTUS decision, the Cheney's packed their mansion into 12 Mayflower vans and departed for Washington. But not before Sirius layed down one more turd right in front of the movers and Cheney's SS guards.

3. Not just any guy, but James Baker's brother-in-law at that!
Besides the general political crap going on between the various powers, throw a little family feud in there and Dick's ass is hash before it is all sorted out.

9. He serves as a symbol of Cheney's character...
Edited on Thu Dec-28-06 11:21 AM by 8_year_nightmare
After having been shot with Cheney's buckshot in the face, Cheney allowed -- maybe encouraged -- this man to set up a press conference to lie pronounce that he was sorry that he got in Cheney's line of fire.

Nice.

11. I can't remember. Did Cheney ever apologize?
I don't believe he did. Of course you think he wouldn't, knowing his character flaw of never admitting to mistakes and blaming others.

10. "Thank You Sir! May I Have Another!"
Edited on Thu Dec-28-06 11:22 AM by Beetwasher
"Dear Sir, please accept my most sincere and humble apologies for getting shot in the face by you. I truly did not mean to cause you so much inconvenience by allowing myself to get shot in the face and almost killed by you. I accept full responsibility for the incident and can not express how sorry I am for putting you and your family through this. If it would help, you can shoot me in the face again, any time you want, and I promise I won't let the press get wind of it this time. Your pal forever, Harry Whittington."

"P.S. Did I mention what a great shot you are, sir?!"
