Is it silly to think that Bush wanted Saddam dead before the Dems took control of Congress? |
|
Suppose the Dems had served him with a subpoena to question him about his nonexistent WMD programs. That could have been really embarrassing for some people involved in the WMD scam.
We could have asked him names of people in the Reagan and Bush1 administration who were playing footsie with him all along too.
Saddam has to die and very quickly.

1. Too petty. He has bigger, longer term reasons |

Like, finishing what his father started, but failed to finish, thus surpassing the father.

4. Oh, the problem wouldn't have been testimony about nonexistent WMDs. |
|
The Bushista's problem would have been his testimony about the real WMD materials that the U.S. supplied in the 1980s, with Rummy as the go-between.
