Saddam Hussein's Half Life
Edited on Thu Dec-28-06 04:37 PM by ck4829
When we first captured him, it was "First we'll try him for what happened in 1982, then we'll try him for whatever happened after that."

Then it was, "Well, he's guilty, let's let him appeal for his trial during the events of 1982, and let's try to forget about anything else."

Then it was like just a couple days ago, "No appeals, let's hang him in 30 days."

Now, "Let's just execute him in a couple of days."

Tomorrow? "Let's execute him in a couple of hours"?

Why don't we have to zeal when it comes to OTHER war criminals and white collar criminals for that matter?
