Five days of mourning for Ford
Is this Bush's way of getting back at us? We should be celebrating the swearing in of Nancy Pelosi as the first female Speaker of the House. The media won't cover it now because it's supposed to be a time of mourning for Ford's death. It makes me sick that they won't cover it. We should demand that Nancy Pelosi get full attention in the next few days, since it is news that we finally have a female Speaker of the House.

5. I guess that must mean that Ford was only about 1/6 as bad as Reagan.
So good to be able to measure it numerically.

2. The Media Wouldn't Have Covered Nancy Pelosi's Swearing-In Anyway
If we're lucky, the media ignores us. If we're not so lucky, they slime us.

Those are the only options.

7. Heh, heh, me either.
I'm just curious as to when these 5 days are supposed to begin? Yesterday, today just when exactly? I need to make a trip to the liquor store tomorrow and I need to know if I should stock up more than usual and beginning when?

8. The five days will be over by the time Pelosi takes over

how inconvenient of Ford to die while Bush is on vacation and before Pelosi takes over!
