Great Fundraising Idea
Hats off to Forestview students
Students at Forestview demonstrated outstanding holiday spirit!

On Friday, Dec. 22, the Forestview Student Council sponsored "Hat Day!" For a $1 donation to the Salvation Army, students could wear their favorite hat in school.

For some, the hats were left at home, but the donations were not.

The total amount collected from "Hat Day": $1,084.28

The school and holiday spirit witnessed on Friday was overwhelming! StudentsÉwhat a great way to begin a new year!

Thank you for supporting your Student Council and the Salvation Army.

1. I suppose it's better than promisng to kiss a pig
which a vice-principal promised to do if her school raised two thousand dollars. The students raised FIVE thousand--and the local media recorded the deed!
