The DECIDER Announces He STILL Can't Decide ---pix--->>>
Edited on Fri Dec-29-06 12:18 AM by Stephanie

Why are The Incompetents being relied upon to craft a plan? Who Cares What THEY Think?

Here, they march forth from the fake ranch to announce that They Have No Plan. WTF?

He worked "nearly three hours," without success. That
must have surely ruined his Vacation.

Bush taking more time to craft Iraq plan

CRAWFORD, Texas - President Bush worked nearly three hours at his Texas ranch on Thursday to design a new U.S. policy in Iraq, then emerged to say that he and his advisers need more time to craft the plan he'll announce in the new year.

Burdened by low approval ratings on his handling of the war, the president is under mounting pressure to come up with a new blueprint for U.S. involvement in Iraq where the execution of Saddam Hussein — perhaps as early as this weekend — could incite further violence.

"We've got more consultation to do until I talk to the country about the plan," Bush said, appearing outside an office building at his ranch.

1. So, are we suppose to believe that all these supposed "brilliant leaders" can't come up with
something after all the time we've been in Iraq?

Why hasn't God spoken to * and advised him yet?

80. Know why Junior's having that summit at the pig farm?
It's mostly show, to let people know that The Decider will decide this, and won't just follow the recommendations of a panel. After all, people have to know that it is The Decider who decides. It is quite childish behavior, and something consistent I have noticed about Junior.

Another thing this is about is finding a way for this junta to keep doing exactly what they've been doing in Iraq but make it look like something else. Notice how the "stay the course" slogan is being replaced with "finish the job". See, that's why we're going to send more soldiers to Iraq. It's so we can get them out. It's the old lipstick on a pig ploy, in an attempt to hold those pesky voters and that uppity new Congress at bay while we "finish the job" in Iraq over the next several decades.

86. Right, like when he had to sit on Uncle Dick's lap to testify to the 9/11 commission
And even at that he had to do it behind closed doors.

Just wait till next month when the corporate news media really gets cranked up. It's going to be all pro-Junior and anti-Democratic Congress all the time. For most of the last 6 years we have been sickened only by the media's enabling of Junior and his Bush-league lapdog Congress. But I predict they'll go (more) on the attack against Pelosi and company now that Democrats are in control.

Everything Democrats do will be wrong and will be a great big deal. Like a couple of years ago when somebody on Jay Rockefeller's staff wrote up a memo that said if Whitewash Roberts didn't stop stonewalling on the Senate Intelligence Committee's Phase II investigation, that Democrats should make a political issue of it. Why, the Publicans and their punduits were shocked, nay outraged, that Democrats might want to let voters know of the coverup - one that's still going on to this day, BTW. You didn't see anybody on the teevee wondering much how Roberts had come by the draft memo that was stolen from Jay's office.

He and his neo con cabinet declared war on Iraq and its innocents four years ago. Now they can't come up with a plan. Only the GOP could stomach this incompetence and exploitation of the U.S. troops.

But, hey, he and his corporate globalists buds have never been richer as they transfer America's working class wealth to the globalists.

Ferragamos are the best fitting, softest, most flexible and comfy leather shoes in the whole WORLD.
They are very sturdy. Expensive, but you can take 'em to a shoe shop and get 'em redone and get more mileage out of them.

I have really narrow bony feet, and they say that all the narrow Ferragamos go to America. Why, I don't know.

No painful spike heels for me!!!!

Having lots of decisions to make.

Do I put my underpants on first, THEN the trousers - or the other way around ??

Do I still say "stay the course", or did we change it again ??

And what the hell does "finish the job" mean ??

So many fucking decisions.....

So what's up with those long faces & body language? I wonder if boosh* et al just heard from their buddies from the house of Saud. That is about the only relationship or group of people that bush*inc has any concern about that could make them sweat--well, Fitzgerald had them sweating for a while... Anyway, last I heard the Saudis were making some big demands on bush*, which included a threat to assist in a(the?) Sunni insurgency. Could the Sauds be pissed @ the hanging of Saddam?

Whatever it is, it has the cabal sweating.

on one of the mornings immediately after the November election rout. They all looked as glum and grim and hang-dog as these photos show. They were all standing in a group on the steps just outside somewhere or other. I forget the details, but what will NOT EVER leave my mind was that collection of grim, glum faces. They'd all been punched in the gut by the voters and they looked it. alberto "torture's okay" gonzales looked like he was about to face his own personal frog march. And contradicta looked as sour-pussed and downcast as in the photos here. Their facial expressions were enough. You didn't need a caption to tell you this was the look of the LOSING team, taking a break from an all-day wound-licking and cry-in-yer-beer marathon.

Many sleepless nights ahead for them, I hope. They should know at least a tiny shard of the misery, fear, panic, heartache, and dread that EVERY family with a loved one in Iraq has to live with every minute of every day. I hope they greet every day in a cold sweat.

105. Agreed. I sure do hope the generals on the ground, the unit commanders, the troops themselves...
... I hope they all realize that there is NO civilian leadership, at the moment, not in the Executive Branch. And, more importantly, I hope they'll recognize that the new Congress about to be sworn in is on their side, searching for a way to end this thing.

It's never been more shockingly clear that Bush and his handlers have no game plan, let alone an end-game strategy.

Democrats taking the helm now have to realize that we the people are the true civilian leadership. and with our votes we have given them very clear orders to stand up and take charge, use every bit authority of the Constitution gives them to see that things get done.

The Faces of Failure we see in these photos sure can't do it. That's painfully obvious. To abandon the troops to these hapless idiots any longer would be nothing short of criminal. :grr:

110. JACK CAFFERTY, "the decider has decided not to decide"
http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0612/12/sitroom.01.html

JACK CAFFERTY, CNN ANCHOR: Wolf, President Bush apparently in no hurry now to come up with a change of strategy in Iraq.

I mean, hey, what's the rush? Things are going to sell over there, right?

Last week he got the Iraq Study Group report amid expectations that he might announce a change in strategy sooner rather than later. Now it looks like it's going to be later.

Instead of a Christmas present to the nation and the people of Iraq in the form of a way to stop the insanity, the decider has decided not to decide until January.

In the meantime, American troops get butchered every day. The American death toll approaching 3,000 now, as December looks to be a very bloody month. Forty-seven soldiers and Marines have been killed in Iraq since December the 1st. And since the start of the war now, 2,937 U.S. troops have been killed.

And for innocent Iraqi civilians, it is much, much worse on a daily basis. Today, 71 Iraqis looking for a job, hoping to find a day's work so they could feed their families, were slaughtered by a suicide truck bomber in Baghdad and 220 additional Iraqi civilians were injured.

And yet President Bush told Brit Hume over at the "F" word network in an interview the other day that the load of the war in Iraq is "not heavy." He called it a joyful, not a painful, experience, because millions of Americans are praying for him.

So, as our soldiers get ready to spent their fourth Christmas in this hellhole, here's the question -- how long should it take President Bush to figure out what to do in Iraq?

111. God what a bunch. Rice and Pace look like they'd rather be having root canal
Bush is wearing his now habitual expression of clueless arrogance. He's pissed about something--or someone.

Cheney seems to be whispering something to Bush--whatever it is it isn't nice. "Buck up you moron." sounds about right to me but I could be wrong.

Gates, Poppy's man, is staring straight ahead perhaps wondering how in hell he ever allowed himself to be talked into this. On the other hand, he seems the calmest and most determined of the bunch. Is it possible that he read them the Republican riot act?

It's Rice and Pace that are the most interesting. The general looks like he just got lambastated by one of his own drill sergeants while Rice looks furious. I get the impression that she just got shot down and stomped on by someone. It could be Cheney but I'd put my money on Bush himself.

He's playing his favorite game: I am willing to be more embarrassed than you are, just to get my way.

Basically, B* is incapable of admitting fault.

So, if he won't do the job, doesn't that mean he's quit?

What will the new congress do with this bit of "on-the-job-retirement?"
