Bush: the Education President
When George Bush took office in 2001, over 75% of children born during the Clinton presidency were functionally illiterate. After 6 years of Bush in office, nearly all of these children can now read. Just another example of Bush cleaning up after the failures of the Democrat Party.

(So whaddaya think? Do you think I can land a job at the American Enterprise Institute?)

3. I'd like to meet that other 25 %...
The 25% who were able to read at birth. Pretty special!

4. Despite Clinton's efforts to hold them back,
most children born in 1993 and 1994 were able to read to some degree by the time Bush took the oath of office. It's truly a testament to the human will. Just imagine the success we would see if we unshackled this burning desire to learn by abolishing socialist big government public education programs.
