Didn't he ramble.... he rambled
Rambled all around.... in and out of town
Didn't he ramble....didn't he ramble
He rambled till the butcher cut him down

I would be vastly amused to see what body he chooses to inhabit next time around.
Bet it will be fun.

Have a good rest; you special soul.

2. RIP James Brown
I don't usually like photos of the dead but that's a rather nice photo.

3. They showed a live image of him in repose on CNN.
I thought it odd and wondered if this has been done before?

6. It is morbid but
objectively it makes way more sense than viewing a closed casket. That I have never understood. In my part of the world all our dead leaders are displayed for people to view.

5. RIP
Now we demand a chance to do things for ourself
We're tired of beatin' our head against the wall
And workin' for someone else
We're people, we're just like the birds and the bees
We'd rather die on our feet
Than be livin' on our knees
Say it loud, I'm black and I'm proud..........

7. Thank you, James Brown
You deserve the rest.

I will never forget being a little white teen, singing "Say it loud, I'm black and I'm proud" at the top of my lungs.

He will be truly missed. RIP

11. I'd like to see him throw off that cape once more
and run back to the mike and scream.
