Bush: "We'll be writing a chapter of peace (in Iraq)"
"People always ask me about a New Year's resolution -- my resolution is, is that they'll be safe and that we'll come closer to our objective, that we'll be able to help this young democracy survive and thrive and, therefore, we'll be writing a chapter of peace."

2. "This young democracy"? "Chapter of peace"?
Does that asshat write his own material, or do his toadies feed it to him? Either way, somebody at the White House had better put down the bong...

5. He is so totally demented it makes me go into a rage....
he has helped create more chaos and death in the Middle East, destroyed an entire country and yet he can utter those meaningless words.

6. reading *'s whole statement makes me think
that he's even worse at communicating than i am- and that if there is a future,
people will look back and read statments such as the one * made

and ask of us- the people being 'governed' by Bush:

"What the HELL was WRONG with them?????"
"Couldn't they see what they were allowing???"

7. Relevant Quotes from Big Al
"You cannot simultaneously prevent and prepare for war." --Albert Einstein (1879-1955)

"Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former." --Albert Einstein

The minority, the ruling class at present, has the schools and press, usually the Church as well, under its thumb. This enables it to organize and sway the emotions of the masses, and make its tool of them." ~ Albert Einstein, letter to Sigmund Freud, 30 July 1932

"Force always attracts men of low morality, and I believe it to be an invariable rule that
tyrants of genius are succeeded by scoundrels."

"He who joyfully marches to music in rank and file has already earned my contempt. He has
been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would fully suffice. This
disgrace to civilization should be done away with at once. Heroism at command, senseless
brutality, deplorable love-of-country stance, how violently I hate all this, how despicable and ignoble war is; I would rather be torn to shreds than be a part of so base an action! It is my conviction that killing under the cloak of war is nothing but an act of murder."

11. I'd say deluded, but it's just fanciful lying
He knows he's going to go down as the worst president ever, and his little ferret brain (sorry, ferrets) is grasping at anything that might show his evil was actually good. Not a chance, chimpalicious.

He was talking about the Roman invasion of Britain but the same logic applies.
