re ATT merger- read the fine print! |
|
At first I thought the concessions made by ATT were OK... i.e., keeping network neutrality; offtering affordable stand alone DSL service; reinstatement of 3000 jobs -- UNTIL I read that these compromises are only good for TWO YEARS, and the company plans to shed 10,000 jobs during that time.
So... what happens after the two years? Does network neutrality end then? Does the ability to buy stand alone DSL service end and then you have to have an expensive package? What?????
I still hate ATT.

They think that we'll be two stupid to realize that they'll get everything they want, just with a 2 year delay.
Fuck that. x(
I don't want them owning the internet now, and I won't want them owning the internet in 2 years either.
And they'll guy Bell South, with is the far better company. It'll all get reduced to the AT&T shitty level of service.
