Anyone Watching These Two CNN 'reporters' Grilling John Edwards?
Unbelievable. They are totally approaching his withdrawal proposal of 50,000 troops entirely from the Bush* viewpoint. Asking him if he wants to 'give up'. Unbelievable.

Dont'you give Bush* credit for finding Saddam?

Asking if he flip flopped on Iraq after voting for it?

Asinine bullshit.

6. While the CNNers are shallow,
Mr. Edwards is very good at answering these types of questions in a hostile format.

8. He was very good, but he did comment that today they ' had all the questions'
and he commented that one question had all the facts wrong.

9. In the course of the
'08 campaign, he is going to be asked a heck of a lot of stupid questions, over and over again. There are few journalists as qualified to ask stupid questions as those he encountered today. Good practice for him.

13. Nice. I don't doubt he'll have no problem with these fools.
Nevertheless, write to CNN and register your disgust with their one-sidedness.

It's a win-win.

NGU.

10. Agreed
and this is actually a good thing. Let them asked all the goofy questions they want to and be as hostile as they want to be. It is part of the process, the more questions (even bad and hostile ones) help define the candidate and his or her views and get their message out. I want them to get tough questions, because they are asking us to give them a tough job. Even if the questions seem unfair and biased, that's life. He needs to handle it.

12. Right.
The guy is an artist when it comes to debating. His goal isn't to convince the journalists of anything. It's to take their questions, and turn them to his best advantage, and aiming his responses at the jury/audience.

11. First question is bullshit, but the second question is valid.
He did change his mind regarding the war after it became unpopular. He was the only Democrat on the Armed Services Committee to vote the IWR out of committee, too.

However, I do agree they should be this tough on Republicans.
