There are many folks in Crawford proper who, from what I saw, live in very modest housing that didn't look like it could hold up in severe weather and I'm sure most of them don't have basements. George and his wealthy friends live on ranches outside of town; it's the folks who work on the rich folks' properties who live in town. So while George and Pickles got a ride in an armored car, I'm sure the folks in town had nowhere to go.

Say what you will about the batshit Crazy-in-Chief, I found the folks in Crawford, by and large, to be decent folk who didn't have a say about who came to live on the pig farm. And please remember the Crawford Peace House, folks. We have a lot of good folks, including Cindy Sheehan, who are there.
