Saddam's execution will usher in peace in Iraq
All the insurgents, terrorists, and radical clerics, both Sunni and Shia, will drop their guns, put down their IEDs, defuse their explosives, and join hands with each other, start singing, and they greet us as Liberators like they should have done back in 2003, and hey, they might even give us their oil as a way of saying thanks.

Right?

10. There will be peace in the Euphrates valley for me.
Oh well, I’m tired and so weary
But I must go alone
Till the lord comes and calls, calls me away, oh yes
Well the morning's so bright
And the lamp is alight
And the night, night is as black as the sea, oh yes

There will be peace in the Euphrates valley for me, some day
There will be peace in the Euphrates valley for me, oh Lord I pray
There'll be no sadness, no sorrow
No trouble, trouble I see
There will be peace in the Euphrates valley for me, for me

Well the bear will be gentle
And the wolves will be tame
And the lion shall lay down by the lamb, oh yes
And the beasts from the wild
Shall be led by a child
And I'll be changed, changed from this creature that I am, oh yes

There will be peace in the Euphrates valley for me, some day
There will be peace in the Euphrates valley for me, oh Lord I pray
There'll be no sadness, no sorrow
No trouble, trouble I see
There will be peace in the Euphrates valley for me, for me

13. Why, YES.

Also, Osama will turn himself in and will make a lovely speech about togetherness and will be pardoned by a crusty but benign Supreme Court Judge with a handy turn in snappy-and-vaguely-amusing-but-with-a-vague-undercurrent-of-menace oneliners.

And then the US will declare War on Iran.

15. And to think, we owe it all to Bush's "compassionate conservatism"!
Edited on Fri Dec-29-06 07:01 PM by Uncle Joe
....Breaking news, this just in apparently compassion doesn't mean what I thought it meant, it says here in Webster's Dictionary the meaning of "compassionate"- Having a disposition to pity;full of compassion inclined to show mercy or pity;sympathetic. example There never was a heart truly great or generous, that was not also tender and compassionate. synonyms merciful, tender, soft, indulgent, kind, clement, gracious.

Damn it! I suppose Bush making fun of Karla Faye Tucker when she was executed should have been my first hint as to his compassion. I wonder why the mass corporate media allowed him to get away with this false advertising?
