Are you tired of living on the edge ?
I read all these horrid things .

Saddam to be hung and I hope this won;t happen .

A surge in Iraq and I hope this won't happen .

A possible recession , I hope will not happen .

An attack on Iran , I hope will not happen.

More and more death , more and more plans and not one bit of good news found that provides one with any real sense of hope .

Just the fact that bush is still in office is enough to tell me we are a fallen nation .

1. Logically, there is only one reason for this amount of bad news to keep happening.
Ratings.

And the higher the trauma factor, the higher the people get off on it.

If "they" wanted to break society, I can think of 20 easier methods to do so. Quicker ones too. Even Bush ain't that malicious; the only thing he's guilty of is being naive and pretending 70% of the population doesn't exist at times. :(

2. Yes and for all the reasons that you so clearly post.
We all need a break from this craziness.

3. That's one reason why I don't watch the news
or listen to it on the radio any more. I get my news online, how I want it, when I want it. I meditate a lot, focusing on peace. May peace be with you.

7. Jhana meditation is certainly getting me through this
It's good to get perspective on just how unimportant this current crop of evil, soulless, heartless bastards running our lives are.

4. I am tired of the FEAR. They don't scare ME anymore, but...
...I'm sick of my wife and my friends trembling due to some crazy statement from BushCo...
