Healing the nation

I hear this brough up all the time . How on earth does one heal a nation ?

So far this nation has never been healed and now it seems to be wounded so very deep that it is close to certain death .

I can't think of a more insane term to be used in describing the way back to reality . Of course you can say what we are at the moment dealing with is reality even though it does appear to be a surreal trip that no drug known to mankind is capable of producing such a bad effect .

No one can bring back all the dead and no one can walk up to any person affected in the gulf coast and take it all back with words and heal a damn thing .

This is just another one of the buzz phrases used to bull shit the people . Such as in heal a divided nation .

I can hardly wait to see what will happen by tomarrow , I already know it will be another flow of more bad news since this is now the trend in this wounded nation .

Even if healing a nation was possible it will leave one hell of a scar which after time will vanish and be forgotten but still be felt by those who live for many years to come , providing no one pushes that red button and ends the entire thing .

1. As I pointed out earlier today, it depends.

If the nation is this nation and we have abit of a tyrant problem, we pardon the tyrant to cut off any investigations into exactly what the tyrant actually did, and that, we are told, heals the nation. If it is some dirtbag has been a-rab nation, we lop off the tyrant's head after a farce of a trial in which none of the truly dirty laundry of the tyrant's reign is brought to light, in particular none of his many dealings with our own leaders, and that we are told is how that nation is healed. It all depends you see.
