One potential big problem with Saddam hanging
He dies at the end of a perceived "American rope" and becomes a martyr.
Troops are high alert.
All hell might break loose.
Is this worth it?

Better to have kept him in prison for life.

3. Also...
Saddam knows way too much about the Bush Crime Family to stay alive.

tomorrow morning in Iraq.

6. I think that's the plan. The surge in violence in Iraq will justify
a 'surge' here.

7. Remember when Bush said "Bring it On" .......
and our troops paid dearly? This seems another one of those moments to me, only worse, and I hate this bullshit more and more. Peace.

8. It's convenient for BushCo. He has to keep this war going
one way or the other until he leaves office, otherwise troops and others who can't talk about it now, will be able to once the war ends for us and what they say won't be good for BushCo while they are still in office.

11. The execution could be a component in a larger project.
Saddam hangs.
Outrage and riots in Iraq.
And maybe within our borders.
Perhaps another "terrorist" attack, esp. as it's New Year's week-end with lots of crowds and celebration.
I mean, another MIHOP.
Giving the WH carte blanche to surge and possibly go into Iran, chasing the "insurgents" retreating.
But like 9-11, a precipitating event had to first occur.
