How can anyone 'celebrate' the holidays with iraqi's and our people being blown to smithereens?

15. And what have you done to help any of these people or their families?
And before you ask, I have helped local military families with donations of food.

You?

18. Yeah thanks seawolf.
Pretty grim around here.

OK, lemme see if I have this right...so because there is a war on we should feel no joy in our lives? In the little things that make up life? How about if someone you know has a baby...or recovers from a life-threatening illness? Or comes home alive from the war? If there was not a war in Iraq, there would still be some other misery in this world. Sheesh, it's like everyone is on this "I am more miserable than you" bandwagon...as if that makes you somehow better.

Taking no joy in life folks...hmmm well IMO, that is a one way ticket to some serious emotional problems. Now, if you'll excuse me, I intend to turn off the computer, go feed the birds outside on my porch and enjoy a beautiful day.

Here is hoping everyone finds something to smile at today. Cheers.
