You know what I am talking about, we've seen it several times before, the disturbing images of Uday Hussein, Qusay Hussein, and Al-Zarqawi laying on a table, eyes closed, it us war propaganda.

Sure, they were evil, but these images are disturbing and immoral.

And it's beneath us, it's the equivalent of putting heads on pikes or us doing the medieval practice of putting the bodies of the executed out on display (In reality, that's exactly what we are doing). Or even what the Islamic Extremists do, Insurgents often showed off their executions too, remember Nick Berg?

Is this how low we have sunk in Bush's America? If we have, then I don't want to a part of it anymore.

1. Right-wing Freepers + Islamists = Same Shit
Some of the right-wing Freeper blogs are putting up videos of foreign hostiges in Iraq, such as Nick Berg and Kenneth Bigley - while being decapitated - as a warning to people: You either support our holy war, or THIS will happen to you.

3. Right After Saddam Was Captured,
I visited my fundamentalist parents. They had on some talking heads on Fox who were giddily chirping about "If we kill Saddam, will the stock market go up?"

Although I avoid politics at home, I blurted out "I am ashamed to live in this country." Somehow I think the mood has changed, but still...
