Another national leader launces an unprovoked war upon a sovereign nation in part to avenge an attemped assassination of his daddy. This national leader who is responsible for the deaths of 3,000 of his own forces as well as over 650,000 deaths of citizens of nation that was invaded, unprovoked. This national leader walks around free and full of arrogance and unremorseful...and no one is able to hold him accountable or punishable.

Later, it was revealed that our initial salvo was a missed attempt to kill Saddam. Then came the "shock and awe" in which the smart missiles were not always exactly on target. In May 2003, Bush stood in front of a "mission accomplished" banner which the White House - after seeing that the war was not ending as planned - denied instigating. Along the way, we learned that Saddam never had a nuclear weapons program. Now, after a loss of nearly 3,000 service personnel for ever-evolving invasion rationalizations, Saddam has been hanged, thereby silencing the information he held regarding U.S. efforts to empower him since the time in 1983 when Rumsfeld shook his hand.

I am tired of trying to make sense out of this whole mess.
