Videotaping Saddam Hussein's execution may be disgusting, but it's something that's part of human nature. That people came out to watch and enjoy public executions is why moralists passed legislation to move executions out of sight and behind prison walls.

Had the iraqis publicly executed Saddam Hussein, there'd doubtlessly have been a large crowd of Iraqis celebrating his demise.
