6. Very good question. I had hoped

when I turned on the TV this a.m. not to see where Saddam H. had been executed. He was a bad man, no doubt, but there are bad men everywhere. Are we out to rid the world of evil-doers? It is difficult for me to put into words just exactly how I feel about this, but the feeling isn't good. Why the hurry to execute him? I have an idea we will never know, but one thing I am sure of is news from the WH is not to be believed. Not only did Hussein die this morning, common sense also died.

7. A tribune reporter was discussing the Rumsfeld connection on

WGN radio in Chicago last night. It is the most popular talk radio station in Chicago and is mostly moderate to right leaning. It made me feel good to hear him say it. However, I checked the trib today and noticed his article didn't mention it. Hmmmm I wonder why.
