More than just tax cuts during a time of war |
|
Edited on Sat Dec-30-06 10:06 AM by ck4829
I'm willing to bet several people here, myself included, think it's silly and even stupid that Bush is cutting taxes, especially for the rich, during a time of war.
Here's another thing:
During war, doesn't the government usually exert more control over corporations? During World War II, several corporations were nationalized and then returned back to the way they were when the war was over.
But Bush, he has been loosening control on corporations, the most egregious of these loosening monopoly restrictions that stop corporations from forming them and making it harder for whistle blowers to expose wrongdoings and not face sanctions.
Why is this?

He's all for big business and doesn't care about anything or anyone else. He truly only cares about business and the little people can just eat cake.
